Getting started

Checklist for using FILO 1. I need - only basic computer skills
- access to a regular dial-up internet connection
- no special software or server
2. I subscribe- and select the resources I require
- then decide on my resource duplication quota (the global number of derived resources that I wish to create)
3. I login- by entering my username and password into www.filo.com.au to access my FILO node to create my own sites and allocate users and respective resources
- to create or edit resources for trainers and learners
- to update policies, diagrams, contact details as they change
- to alter photos and information to suit
- to print hard copies for distribution to my trainers or learners
- to communicate with other users in my FILO node
4. I access FILO- at any time from anywhere in the world as long as I have an active internet connection
5. I can work collaboratively- with other trainers/ users in different locations and co-jointly rewrite or edit a resouce
- with the NSWFITC Assessors Network to validate resources
6. I receive help- to use my FILO resources as part of my subscription
7. I can ensure quality training- by embedding AQTF documentation requirements into my FILO node and maintaining currency and relevance of my resources for my clients/ employees/ learners
